I was just preparing myself a delicious plate full of chicken nuggets when I noticed movement in the corner of my kitchen. I turned around, slowly, and took careful note my chubby cat Spock, who had his eye on the prize… my food.
His eyes were wide, pupils dilated, his mouth lopsided as if he was about to make a sound. I shook my head… Spock doesn't know that these chicken nuggets are not actual birds. He thinks he needs to hunt them, or something. Funny little dude. Suddenly there was a burst of movement — my other fluffy feline, Leo, had jumped into the arena. He was quicker than Spock (less chubby), and ran towards me at full speed, snatching up one of the nuggets before I could protest. Spock immediately howled, probably thinking how unfair it was that his sibling got to the prize first.
I sighed, because now I needed to give Spock one, too. That left me with 6 nuggets. Oh well…
