Dungeons and Dragons table disputes are disheartening, but especially so when they actually involve real heartbreak.
One DnD player uploaded a tearful story to Reddit that involved his wife who had filed for divorce. It was totally one-sided, as he still loved her and wanted to work it out, but she was adamant they were done. I couldn't hang out with my ex, especially if we were in the process of getting a divorce. Let alone play a game with characters and everything.
A table dispute broke out that ended in tears, and the internet comments were actually wholesome for a change. DnD players rushed to his defense, sharing their condolences and being overall supportive.
