It's tough being so dark and mysterious all the time. For the last several decades, dark-humored folks have been out-cast and pushed aside as the 'black sheep' of the family, wondering why our darkness creeps into every joke and every topic at the dinner table. Apparently, nobody wants to laugh away the pain anymore!
But luckily, dark-humored fellas can band together and LOL at the shadows, because without a little chuckle, the scariness is actually scary. That's our secret weapon–laughter. Ironically, the dark things in life are made a little lighter when we joke about it, so even if it's a little off-base, poorly timed, or just downright unlaughable, perhaps it's time to teach everyone the ways of the dark humorist, sprinkling sarcasm and self-deprecating humor into the world. One day, every regular ol' sheep in the herd will be darkening their humors to reach the abysmal levels of this soulless crowd, but it'll be years before they reach the true, dark-humored expertise of this life-long black sheep.
