Some kids want to be like Superman when they grow up, some want to be a doctor or an astronaut, and some want to be like Sherlock Holmes. I don't know at what age I became aware of Sherlock Holmes, but it must have been pretty young because he was part of a lot of kids' stories and even has a few known idioms that we all use, so I remember from a young age that I wanted to be as smart as him.
