As a kid, the games and activities you took part in really helped shape who you are going to grow up to be, but also really says a thing or two about your parents. Many parents like their kids to engage in sporty activities - being a part of the soccer team at school, swimming, running, and so on. My parents? They wanted us to engage in thinking, and so for most of my childhood, I was a part of all kinds of "smarty pants" clubs - chess club, math club, and so on. Plus, at home, our family activities usually involved something nerdy, like putting together a jigsaw puzzle.
Don't get me wrong, I loved my childhood, but all those activities didn't really prepare me for a career in humor and finding hilarious memes to share with people all across the internet, so I am not really sure if all those nights putting together puzzles actually helped shape me to be the person I am today.
