Hey, friends! We've heard of some ridiculous requests from neighbors in our day... Don't make too much noise, don't move furniture past 8pm, and you better not dare park in my spot... just to name a few. But we've never had a neighbor tell us to restrict the movement of our (indoor!) pets! The original poster of the thread we are featuring today was left aghast after receiving quite a presumptuous request from their neighbor. OP took to Reddit to get some opinions on the appropriate response, which was overwhelmingly decided to be a simple 'no.'
Here's the deal: OP's neighbor works from home, and their dog goes crazy barking every time he sees OP's cats sitting by the window. So what is OP's neighbor's solution? OP should restrict their cats' movement. Sounds like a perfectly reasonable request, right? Wrong. Sounds like OP's neighbor needs to invest in some dog training. And that's all we've got to say on the matter!
