We have all heard of the five love languages people use to show and receive love and affection from their loved ones – Words of affirmation, quality time, acts of service, gifts, and physical touch.
After reading about each one, I think there should be a sixth love language – Food. Buying each other food, cooking for each other, eating out together, and even sharing food, are all key ways in which couples these days express love. And even though these options can technically be part of the different love languages listed above, I still think they deserve their own category.
The woman in this Reddit story might agree with this statement, as food is a big part of why her relationship with her husband is now falling apart. After years of making her husband lunch to work, OP (original poster) discovers that a coworker has been making her husband lunches, while he happily claims that his wife's food is downright tasteless. She confronts her husband, but some of the trust between them can now never be restored…
