Compliments to the chef, and everyone else in the back of house.
If you have never worked in the service industry, you really should. In my opinion, everyone should work in the service industry at least for a little bit to gain some empathy. Once you service the service industry, you can survive a lot of things. That goes for both back and front of house. Let's talk about the back of house, though. You think they can get away with a lot more since they aren't dealing face-to-face with the customers, but have you ever met a professional head chef? They are usually very good at yelling at you and telling you to leave if you start crying. And, honestly, the hectic way things go down in a restaurant, they have every right to. My first night working at a restaurant, I was a hostess and the chef prank phone-called me right before my shift ended. He was like 7 feet tall, covered in tattoos, and wore an eye patch… I was 18 years old and had only worked retail before. That was fun… Anyways, these memes are for the back of house! We appreciate you.
