What games did you play in your elementary school? Red Rover? Heads up, 7-Up? Freeze tag? Four Square? Wallball? As we got older, these games at recess became more and more nostalgic, making Gen Xers feel wanton for the days of yore when our knees didn't crack, we could run for hours, and we always had a pesky scab healing on our elbows. Strangely, most of us can still go hit the blacktop and play a round (or two) of any one of these games and the rules would magically come back in a flash–so what's holding us back?
Remember the days of trusty high-top Converse, a striped t-shirt, at least one missing tooth, and a school bully who needs to be taught a lesson? If only we could turn back the clocks and woop some tooshie one last time at recess.
Luckily, Gen Xers have proven to be resourceful in our nostalgic gameplay and instead of reviving the games of our youth we took the courts with a new and improved game, fondly called 'Pickle Ball'.
