Sure, maybe cartoons these days teach a more wholesome lesson to the kids watching it. But cartoons from the ‘80s were just a whole other ball game! There were no rules and half the writers were on drvgs. That sure meant for some crazy series. Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were so good that they re-made them! Nobody is trying to hate on the cartoons for kids these days. We are actually obsessed with Adventure Time. But, come on, nothing has come close to the way He-Man, Thundercats, or Jem and the Holograms hit you in every way. The ridiculous shenanigans the characters would get into, the fashion, the insanely camp one-liners. Nobody can top one-liners from 1980s cartoons, and you cannot convince us otherwise. The times though, they are a'changing. So what do we do? We embrace it and, at the very least, allow our beloved old-school cartoons to be meme-ified. Like the ones below!
