‘I make significantly less than my male co-workers’: Women in Tech Open Up About the Frustrations of the Outdated Wage Gap

Welcome ladies. As strong, empowered women of the world, there seems to be no end to our fight for equality. It's 2024 already, yet outdated, illegal, and misogynist practices and procedures still dominate certain fields. In male dominated fields, the wage gap appears to be the worst. Not only is the day to day harder than average, with slander, harassment, and belittling, but you also get paid less for the same work. 

Women are opening up more and more about the treatment they deserve. This treatment includes not only a societal change in the day-to-day, but in the wages. Is there no rest to the injustice? We all hope and pray for a world one day where women and men have equal rights, privileges, and opportunities. We've come a long way, and even though there are bouts of uncertainty and tradition on the journey, there is a general increase in our quality of life as women.
