Cats and water don't mix, right? Any cat lover who's attempted bathing their cat has likely been met with some mean mittens and some angry hissterics. Anyone who's ever seen a stray hiding under a bush during a summer downpour probably noted how extremely miserable a wet cat can be.
However, there are some furry felines who thrive alongside the water's edge.
While Madeleine the orange cat may not seem like a pirate or a swashbuckling sailor at first, but she has made herself purrfectly comfortable on her pawrent's sailboat. Without a life vest and with a daring twinkle in her eye, this cat has dared to amass a daring logbook of sailboat nap spots that would make a landlubber kitten shake in their boots. Alongside the biggest body of water possible (the ocean), Madeleine snores and sleeps throughout the day, unbothered by the paw-spects of falling in for wet, sad dip.
Scroll for the hooman-rated sleep spots for this dashing young kitten and sit back astounded at her bravery at sea.
