There are worse obsessions to have - for example, this cat could be stealing wallets or purses. That's really only bad for the people who get their wallets or purses stolen, it might be kind of nice for the owners of the cat!

Our cat was obsessed with shoelaces. Not the shoes, not socks, just the shoelaces. She loved them so much that she would either chew them out of our shoes, or steal our shoes, sit on them, just so she could chew on the shoelaces in her own space. What an adorable little weirdo!
