Have you ever been jonesing for a coffee so much that you lash out against hotel staff, risking your reputation, well-being, and your livelihood? Yeah, me neither. While coffee beans are delicious and revitalizing, they can also turn hotel guests into bitter Bettys, keen on taking their frustrations out on the staff. For the front desk manager in our next story, fending off feral guests from the complimentary coffee in the morning required full-time attention–that is until one customer completely lost their marbles.
Anyone who's endured the throes of a customer service job can attest that there's nothing worse than a rogue Karen or Kevin. Inflated by entitlement and fueled by impotent rage, these megaliths of stubbornness seek to steamroll every customer service representative they can get their hands on. But at least for the hotel staff in our next story, they were able to get their own payback against a Kevin who decided to antagonize everyone over a free cup of coffee.
