'What's for dinner?' can be the most despair-inducing question some days. What do you mean, I'm a grown adult who has to do work for eight hours and then casually whip up something delicious and nutritious to fuel doing it all over again tomorrow?
It's fair to say that I am not really one of those people who can claim that cooking relaxes them. Under less stressful circumstances, however, I can certainly enjoy it. Plus, the upside of cooking on a busy weekday is that it's like giving yourself a tasty reward for everything you've done (if it turns out OK, that is).
It also means you can relate to the wonderful world of cooking memes. There is a lot about the practice of making and eating food where it's important to see the funny side, especially when things go wrong. Some might even say that it can make our meals taste better.
