Especially if the truth has to do with their body and whether they've had plastic surgery done. As women we know how our bodies feel as women, but a man unfortunately might not be so aware. He might take his paranoia with him, accusing his partner of having implants, augmentations, or any number of things. It's important to respect your partner, and that means believing them about their natural body. Insisting you, as a man, know more or better about your partner's body than they do is just another way to oppress them.
