I think most of us could stand to have a better relationship with our bodies. Most of us have things we wish we could change about them. If we could, some of us would make ourselves taller, slimmer, more built, or with less flat feet. But there's no such thing as perfect. I prefer to think of my body as a sack of flesh that I appreciate for what it does for me, but not for much else. I'm all about body neutrality.
Sure, it's nice to think you look good, but looks fade and you don't want all your self-esteem to hinge on your appearance. If you think of your body as a soft vehicle for activity, then when you're old, you won't care. And maybe we can think of exercise as a way to extend your body's use, not just to make it look good. But the pump is real. I know this much.
