Over our time writing for ICanHas, we have seen some crazy stories when it comes to relationships and cats. You would think that it would be impossible for this itty bitty adorable creature to cause any kind of drama between two partners, but you would be wrong. We have heard of everything from girlfriends mistreating their boyfriend's cats to people refusing to let their ex's visit their cats all the way to ex's kidnapping their partner's cats and then abandoning them when they got sick.
All kinds of crazy stories have crossed our paths, but none quite as crazy as the one we have for you today. We cannot imagine being in this situation. To have someone that we love, someone that we have agreed to spend the rest of our lives with, just… out of the blue, decide to get rid of our cat… That's just evil. Yeah, we understand why this led to the wedding being cancelled.
The phrase "dropped my cat off somewhere" is vague enough that, at first, we thought this might have been an overreaction. Maybe her partner dropped the cat off at the vet. Maybe someone allergic was coming over, so he dropped the cat off at some friends. But no, this man went and dropped a cat off in some park somewhere, with the cat having no way to know how to get back.
You know, although the chances of the cat finding its way back to you are low, we do hope that it'll happen one day. We have seen crazier stories. You should post some pictures of it, spread them around. Maybe both you and the cat will get lucky and find your way back to each other.
