If you want to get places, you gotta work hard… I don't make the rules, but unfortunately, I do have to play by them.
Sure, there are those kids who cleverly created a YouTube channel at the ripe old age of 7 and now they're millionaires, but that's not us, is it? Nope, we have to get up and drive to the office every morning. We need to sit through meetings, organize files, send emails, talk to customers… whatever it is we need to do.
It's hard to justify my bitterness when overall, life is pretty good. But hey, we all get to complain once in a while, right? And besides, it'll all be worth it in the end. 20 years from now we'll be sitting on a private jet, drinking it up with our bestie who supported us throughout our whole journey.
