You know what cats are? Other than purrfect? Cats as spoiled as heck. So spoiled, in fact, that any itty bitty inconvenience to their lives is something that they treat as a catastrophe. Sorry - a cat-astrophe. No mistake by their human, however small, is acceptable. Cats are spoiled to heck, and they very much love it.
Nothing short of pawfection is acceptable to cats, and that includes everything from getting the food that they want whenever they want it, and being petted exactly where they like as much as their like, and having their poops cleaned out of their poop-box impeccably, or they will do their business on your favorite couch. And if you are give attention to someone other than them, your drama queen cats will have a fit about it. Misbehaving as a cat servant costs. They just remind us about it every once in a while.
It's amazing how human-like cats can be sometimes. We have to remind ourselves sometimes that our cats are not actually human. Every once in a while, we catch ourselves talking to our cats as if they understand exactly what we're saying. We can't help it. They're such an important part of our lives and our families that we can't help but treat them as if they're humans sometimes. And them acting like this does not help with that.
Look at her in her little sick bed, pretending to be a sick little drama queen. Look at her face. She knows what she's doing, she knows what she wants, and she has absolutely no shame about whatever she needs to do to get what she wants. We stan.
