Sure, being romantic is nice and all, but… Roasting is so much more fun! Maybe I'm tripping, but I can't imagine having 100% romance at all times being that interesting of a relationship. In fact, that sounds like it would make romanticism booooooring. Where is the cute little torture? How can we love each other when we can't even riff together?? Finding that perfect roast-to-romance ratio is so important in a relationship. You have to be able to laugh with and at each other or else everything would be too serious. What? You have to stare deep into each other's eyes and confess your deepest emotional thoughts about each other every single time you two see each other?… That sounds exhausting.
