Having long nails can be a challenge at work. We mean absolutely no shade to those who choose to keep their nails long; in fact, we marvel at your ability to open doors, envelopes, and file cabinets with them. However, if you are also the type of coworker who frequently shirks their responsibilities and leaves your fellow employees to take on extra tasks, you'd be surprised to learn that your coworkers can use your long nails against you as this employee did.
They shared their side of the story via this thread on Reddit's r/pettyrevenge subreddit, and let's just say that eventually, this person may want to ditch the acrylics pretty soon. Alternatively, she can start showing up to work on time, apologize to her coworkers who are clearly turning against her, and try to make peace with them. Then, she can keep her long nails as well as her job.
