We all know that certain dog breeds have certain characteristics. Through centuries of hoomanity playing in god mode, dog breeders have done a pretty gorsh darn good job of widdling the doggo genetic code into exactly the shape that we dog lovers want. Want a dog that's masculine, tiny, and has a crushed little face? French bulldog. Do you want a dog that's the size of a horse? Great Dane. Do you want a doggo that's pocket-sized, lives longer than you, and is always trembling? Mini poodle.
Despite the idiosyncrasies that a lot of us witness with our own doggos, whether they're a mutt or a pure breed, there are some things we always wanna see in our fur babies. We want them to be loyal, polite, and well-mannered, and we want them to wag their tails and have a fantastic, healthy life.
