If you're going to be a bonehead in the workplace, you better watch your back at every corner. If your annoyed co-workers don't getcha, Karma sure will. This time, however, it was the annoyed co-worker who got the last laugh.
Reddit user MerryMir99 is taller than the average female, coming in at 5'11. She just so happens to date a short king who is only 5'3. She loves him and even says she wants to marry him someday. So when a new co-worker joined the staff and started harassing her about her relationship height difference, she decided to take revenge the best way she knew how. By being a little too nice.
Her boss takes her opinion very seriously, so when he approached her about “promoting” this annoying co-worker into a position that, she knew, would make him absolutely miserable, she had his back. She talked him up like he was the only man who could possibly do the job! And you know what? He got it! But now he works the night shift, which is ruining his marriage. Plus, he's too busy to tease MerryMir99 about her short king and that makes it all worth it.
