I am currently recovering from being sick over the last few days, like many people at this time of year. Also like many people, I do not like being sick, and I have gotten really good at being sorry for myself whenever I am sick. But, if there is one thing that always makes me feel better, that is the presence of my cat. She can always tell whenever I feel down, and will not leave my side until I am better. Yesterday she laid on my stomach for five hours and did not stop purring, because she knows it helps me. Even when I am just sad, without any particular reason, she is always there to comfort me.
