Monday morning. Curse you. You have come again to rouse us from our precious slumber. And we… are not ready. Nope. Not even close. Mondays are always hard, and this one is even harder than most. All that we want, please, is another day added to our weekends, is that too much to ask for? And apparently, it is. Apparently, we have to be adults or something and get out of bed and go to work. Soon. In five minutes. Right after we laugh at some animal memes.
Listen, as difficult as Mondays may be, funny animal memes are the one thing that can make them a little less horrible. There is just something about cats in bags and cats in boxes that is just… so funny. No matter how many times we see it, it's always funny. What in the world do they find so enjoyable about these things? That's what we always ask ourselves, that's what we desperately want to know, and sadly, we will never have a clear answer.
We have heard of their story before, and every time we do, our heart warms all over again. Yes, they came together under bad circumstances, and yes, it was unorthodox to put them all together after the rescue, but they truly did become amazing friends, and we think that's beautiful.
