This is a weird story about a Dungeon Master who took things way too personally when one of the players in their campaign didn't appreciate a gift they got him. The DM uploaded a post to r/dnd where they explained that they encountered a strange situation with their best friend with whom they were playing DnD. This best friend was obsessed with chickens, or so it seemed. He somehow managed to incorporate a love for chickens into his role-playing characters. According to the poster, this originated from childhood because his friend really enjoyed the cartoon Ed, Edd n Eddy.
This fixation manifested in various character traits and storylines, such as raising chickens for sustenance or embarking on quests to save them. Again, weird, but okay. When presented with a chicken-themed gift, the dude was surprisingly indifferent. It was almost as if he didn't care about chickens at all. The poster was upset that his friend rejected his gift, and used their DM status to their advantage.
I'm shaking my head over here… And I can't explain it any better, so scroll down and read for yourself.
