I have come to believe that the Doctor Who fandom is one of the coolest fandoms that exists. Not only is the fandom 60 years old, and still going strong, but over the course of these 60 years, the fandom has gotten so meta, that it starting to look like an actual paradox.

Let me explain by giving you the example of one David Tennant. David was a huge fan of the show as a kid, and he made his dreams come true by becoming the 10th (and 14th) Doctor. So far a cute story, but what is meta about it? Well, on an episode called 'The Doctor's Daughter', Tennant met Georgia, who played The Doctor's daughter Jenny. They fell in love and got married. So now The Doctor's daughter is also The Doctor's wife. Not only that, Georgia is also the real-life Doctor's daughter of the actor who played the 4th Doctor on the show (Peter Davidson). Now that is what we call a paradox.
