This couple posted all over social media about their recent flight, and they're getting plenty of backlash over it.
There's never been a crazier time to fly than the 2020s. Airline incidents have risen significantly, and since everyone has their phones in their hands 24/7, there are endless recordings of these incidents. Some people get on planes and get too tipsy, then start drama with other passengers or the flight attendants. Other passengers start yelling at each other over seating issues or personal issues. People aren't being very empathic while traveling, and instead, they're only caring about themselves as they fly from one destination to the next.
This couple had their own story to share, and they gleefully posted about it to their socials. However, they were called "entitled" and "petty" by commenters who just couldn't understand their behavior. Even if they did act so over-the-top towards another passenger, it's odd that they then wanted to share that with the world. The couple are somewhat well-known---one woman starred in a season of "The Bachelorette," and her girlfriend is a writer and comedian. I wonder if their followers found the posts relatable… because the commenters of the r/ImtheMainCharacter subreddit certainly didn't.
