Do you remember how old you were when you did your laundry for the first time? Washed your dishes for the first time? Took your first shower? Walked the dog? Some of those have clear age limits, but some are questionable. If you're a new parent, you probably never even thought of these kinds of things until now. For example, your toddler is up and moving and able to pick things up and even communicate a bit. So you would think that they should be able to clean most of their own messes then, right? Like, say they spilled their juice, they should be able to wipe it down themselves. Apparently, that's a big no-no and not because the act is dangerous, but because the cleaning products used are usually toxic.
