Greetings, dear companions! The 'not my cat' phenomenon is ever growing in popularity, luckily for us. It manifests in various forms—a distinctively feline presence, unmistakably not belonging to you, making itself at home in your domain. Residing in a bustling city teeming with stray feline inhabitants, I frequently find myself ensnared in numerous 'not my cat' encounters. Regrettably, not all of these wandering felines can transition from being mere passersby to becoming cherished companions. Nevertheless, I lavish them with treats and affection. Why? Because they deserve it, duh.
Let's be honest, as humans, we are mere mortals in the majestic realm of cats. We simply appreciate that they choose to present themselves to us at the randomest of times and in the randomest of places. And that is what we will continue to do, my cat or not.

"Neighborhood buddy came for his first visit of the year, I gave him some treats, he gave me some snugs. Its like he came to congratulate me before my wedding day"
"Stray has been coming around my moms for almost a year now, and today when i went to visit her, she said look who moved in haha"
"Once a part of a colony, to living in the backyard... now apartment living. I think he's settling in nicely."
"A kitten showed up! He's skinny and has brownish discharge coming from his nose, so we're calling a vet. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a human because of this, but he's friendly, so we'll ask for a microchip scan. Its a dream come true for a cat to appear like this (who probably doesn't have a home), so I'm desperately hoping he's okay"
"Update: Took him to the animal shelter. They said he's indeed a boy, with no microchip, and he's adoptable! I'm sad because I know in my heart I'm not in a position to adopt another cat, but with how pretty and friendly he is, I'm hoping he will find a loving home. I'm glad we found you, little kitty"
"The tobacco warehouse I used "hired" (adopted) some shelter cats for mouse control so I get to give myself allergies every time I go because I can't stop giving them attention. This one is Lucy"
"she owns the pool now"
