Living in an area with little to no parking spaces can get extremely frustrating very fast. Having to wander around the street for 15 minutes after work just to find a parking space, which is usually at least another five-minute walk back to your home, is a routine none of us want to go through. That obviously leads to people sometimes parking in front of other people's houses, simply because that is the only free space they managed to find. This could be annoying for the people living there, but it is not like they are entitled to the open space in the public street that is in front of their house.
This leads us to this petty revenge Reddit story. OP lives in an area where people park on the street since there are no private driveways. A neighboring family decided to claim the street as their own, and do whatever they liked there, including demanding people to move their cars if they parked in front of their house. Well, OP got an opportunity to get revenge by parking a friend's shabby car right in front of their house for 6 months straight, so he took that opportunity and rolled with it.
