The workplace can ignite a lot of confusion, mixed emotions, and strange interpersonal interactions. Sometimes your colleagues are just colleagues, meaning they're not your friends per say. There's not a relationship of trust built in, and the world can offer a lot of temptations and other unreasonable people doing unreasonable things. 

Some people aren't as mature as others. Some people lack a self-respect, and a respect towards others. As coworkers, it's important to at the very least have a semblance of respect towards your equals. We're all adults, and we should act as such. This means not hitting on your colleagues husband and stalking him the day after you meet. It means not finding his number in the company database to contact him about his nagging wife. Some people don't know any better, and for that we laugh at them and all the ridiculous situations that arise in this crazy life.
