Dear Diary,
Picture this: your name is Michael Packard and you're out for a leisurely scuba dive one day, maybe collecting some tasty lobsters for dinner, and you see a large shadow in the distance. You're probably used to this, as visibility in the ocean isn't always the greatest. The already large shadow gets larger, and larger, and you realize that it's actually a humpback whale coming right at you! You panic for a second, but then you remember that humpback whales are filter feeders, they don't eat humans. You think you're safe, but the whale keeps on coming.
Before you know it, the whale's mouth is opening around you and you're stuck inside the whale's mouth! Luckily, a whale's throat is only the size of a basketball, so you can't physically be swallowed, but it's still not pleasant to be stuck in another animal's mouth. After about 40 seconds, the whale realizes you're not food and spits you out. Thankfully, you leave the whole experience with only a few bruises and a dislocated knee. That was certainly a whale of a surprise!

The whale in this photo looks very unimpressed. If it could talk, it would probably say something like, "Please, no more paparazzi. I accidentally swallowed him three years ago, can you please leave me alone already? I already apologized, and I spit him out as fast as I could."
