We have always loved the fact that different colored cats have different personalities. Mostly because as cat pawrents, you are almost never alone. If your cat is doing something weird, the first thing we would suggest is that you check with other pawrents of the same colored cat to see if something similar is also happening with their cat. For example, we couldn't understand why our orange cat constantly makes weird mouth noises that sound like he is eating, for no apparent reason. Then we saw a post of another orange cat doing exactly the same thing, and we realized it is just an orange cat thing.
One thing that black cats all have in common, is the ability to be awwdorably creepy. This Reddit thread proves exactly that.
