If you caught the Golden Globes this week, then you are most likely already aware of the absolutely horrendous monologue done by comedian Jo Koy. Why in the world did they choose this not-very well-known comedian, nobody knows. But if they were going for someone who makes inappropriate, not funny, and just downright antiquated jokes then they sure chose the right guy! His jokes took one of the top-grossing films of the year and dwindled it down to "haha b0obies!" He became the type of guy the movie was commentating on and didn't even realize it. Now THAT'S a pretty funny joke. At his expense. As you can see, as a woman during the era of Barbie, I too did not find these jokes amusing. But don't take it from me, listen to the hundreds of women on the internet ripping Koy to shreds. If you're going to bomb a stand-up gig, at least do it with headier jokes.
