The wider world of the internet is filled with stories of ill-mannered customers, making life unnecessarily difficult for the humble working-class customer service rep who had the misfortune of serving them.
Still, it's important for us to take a step back and realize that, while it may be nice to root for the everyman, we can't blindly assume that the workers themselves are infallible. There are entitled people on all sides and from all walks of life—and there are certainly plenty of people working jobs who are also jerks, entitled, or just having bad days. Heck, just take one look at your own coworkers, and you'll know this to be true.

This guest received appallingly bad service from the waiter at the restaurant in the hotel where they were staying, with the waiter initially refusing to provide the service. From there, things didn't get a whole lot better, with the waiter almost completely ignoring their table. The guest endured this treatment, but when their food finally arrived and was brought out by another member of staff, the guest took their chance to even the scales, handing the food runner a tip directly and zeroing out the tip line on their bill.
