I'm not one to nitpick about my man's profession. It's hard enough trying to find someone you enjoy and respect enough to be committed to let alone base that on their job, but there are always exceptions. Pilots definitely make that list for me and I know I'm not alone. There's a certain stigma that pilots carry and whether it's their status, uniform, or arrogance that make them more attractive, it's certainly appealing to the masses. Cue Glen Powell in Top Gun. 

There are some legitimate reasons to date a pilot ranging from the security you feel around them, being with a permanent travel companion who can probably get you amazing deals on flights, and maybe even joining the mile high club. The latter is a bucket list item for millions. But seriously, can you imagine flying to Rome for free for your anniversary because your partner is a pilot? Sign me up. 

It's obvious that pilots travel a lot more than most professions. Some people would find it hard to be away from their partner multiple days a week, but I'd love the space. It seems healthy to have that time apart so that you're even more attentive and appreciative when you have that time together.
