Do people just leave their valuable belongings at random places hoping no one will take them, or is it just this one Karen?
When I worked in retail, I had a few regular customers who would occasionally ask me to put some shopping bags behind the counter while they went to get their car. Some even asked me to keep an eye on their kids while they ran to a different shop or took a phone call outside. Either way, I am no stranger to weird requests from customers. But I have to say that when I read about this Karen who purposely left her purse in a shopping cart outside a store and then blamed the employees inside for not preventing it from being taken, I was pretty amazed. She could have asked them to keep it while she did whatever she needed to do, but no! Why would she make the sensible choice when she can just later blame everyone else for her actions?
