It is common knowledge that cats are liquid. It simply is. If you didn't know that yet… have you been living under a rock? If you think that is physically impawssible, we're here to tell you that it is, and that it also doesn't matter. Because cats do whatever they want. Cats do not care about silly things like physics and the laws of nature. Cats are beyond that stuff. They are elevated. And they are, indeed, liquid. And so it follows that: if cats are liquid, cats can also fit in ridiculous spaces.
If I fits, I sits. Such is the famous saying. We don't know which cat said it first, but we know that they have all been saying it since. One does not need to be a unique cat to follow this principle, because all cats are liquid, and all cats will fits if they choose to sits.

Sigh. Oh, the days our kittens used to sit inside of shoes will always be ones we'll think of fondly. Nowadays, seeing that our kitties are significantly too big to fit inside a shoe, all they can do… is stick their faces in the shoes and lie down right there.
We love this photo specifically because we know, for a fact, that this cat knew it would not fit in this box. No chance in heck. It's too small, it would never work. The cat knew, and the cat did it anyway, and somehow, against all the laws of nature, the cat fit in the sit. We should never doubt them.
