When it comes to the world of online dating, we all have gone through a fair share of ups and downs. On the one hand, online dating is incredibly helpful as it allows us to meet people from all corners of the world, people we wouldn't normally meet in our everyday lives. We can choose who to talk to based on our interests and what we're looking for in a partner, and we can choose who to ignore ;).
But as any serial dater knows, online dating can be tricky. Many people tend to lie on their profiles, which makes meeting them in real life quite disappointing. Whether they lied about their age, their occupation, or everything in between - the possibilities for catfishing are endless. Not to mention the huge variety of people we encounter on the apps… this too, makes online dating that much more difficult.
