There is just something about love these days that leads to couples compulsively oversharing on the internet. Cringeworthy as it can be, I kind of get it when it's two people who are blissfully happy and will find any excuse to shout it from the rooftops. What is a lot more mystifying is when they start airing their dirty laundry. For example, is exposing to the general public that your husband refuses to cook for himself really doing your relationship any good? I find it difficult to think so.
Nonetheless, content creators continue to use the old ball and chain as the subject of posts that can only really be described as embarrassing. Such was the case for a recent video in which a couple admitted to not initially being attracted to one another, but ended up "totally in love" because they pushed past "[their] superficial type".
A lot of viewers thought this was a weird thing to admit out loud, although some had their sympathies with this approach. Attraction might not be everything, but it's still important.
