'I’m returning the favor': Employer gaslights remote worker into working from the office, worker quits

It's even worse when you're being told not to worry about something that has a direct impact on the terms of your employment—if an employer is telling you not to be worried about impending changes to your ability to work from home, you have every right to be very worried about those changes. In fact, their insistence that you shouldn't be worried about it should only serve to make you more worried.

This employer tried to tell this worker that they shouldn't be worried about changes to their working arrangement that might see them needing to work from the office three days a week instead of their current one day a week. When they enquired about the change, they were told not to worry, only to find later that they were going to be very much affected. Disgruntled with the situation, they immediately made plans for a quick exit.
