It's that time of the year again! The Thermostat Battles are upon us. We're grateful to be privileged to live somewhere that even has an adjustable thermostat. But riddle me this, internet: Why is it that one household can never agree on the same temperature? Is it that people who prefer the cold just tend to befriend people who prefer the heat and vice versa? And they don't know they are doomed until they move in together and the thermostat war begins?? Nobody talks about this in family therapy or couples' counseling. Dads have even earned the reputation of usually being the overlords of the house thermostat. We understand wanting to use less of the heat to save money, but like, is hypothermia the cost? Don't call us dramatic, it's friggin' cold in here. Which one of our coworkers touched the thermostat again?? THIS MEMES WAR!
