I don't know about the rest of you bi girls out there, but personally, identifying as bisexual has been incredibly complex due to societal misjudgments, stereotypes, and invalidation. And though I can't speak for all the bisexual women out there, I can say that these challenges have long been present in our community. 

And it's not just for bi-women, but men too! For men who identify as bisexual, there seems to be a common misconception that they're automatically gay. This obviously diminishes the validity of their feelings and reinforces these t0xic assumptions about the bi community. Women who identify as bisexual may have it even worse, constantly battling skepticism or disbelief regarding the authenticity of our orientation. It can get pretty exhausting constantly having to prove your identity. 

But hey, although navigating a world that fails to validate our bisexuality can feel isolating, please know that you are not alone. You are seen and you are validated.
