Sometimes, Karens get served a much-deserved dish of instant karma, but other times, they get exactly what they want. Here at FAIL Blog, we're used to triumphant stories where the little guy stands up for himself and calls an entitled Karen out on her nonsense either with some fun malicious compliance or delicious petty revenge. This thread was posted to Reddit by u/RogueKhajit, who opened up about a time when he got written by management after a regular customer complained about being accused of theft. OP was simply doing his job, as he was instructed to carefully watch what happens at self-checkout. However, because management sided with Karen, OP was denied an upcoming promotion and watched several of the people he trained get promoted instead. Other folks shared their stories of Karens who got them in trouble at work, including several anecdotes about getting fired as a result of this kind of entitlement.
