Travelling for work could be so simple, if only the accounting department would let these little money issues slide. However, the accounting department is not in the business of letting things slide: they need to know where every single penny in the business is going to.
Eating at those very fancy and extravagantly expensive restaurants is something that I can only enjoy on someone else's dime, and I bet I'm not the only one. If food is super pricey, I'll just spend the whole meal thinking about how it's costing me like $2 per bite. And for what? The quality is usually just fine, not even perfect. You can almost always get an identical dish elsewhere for much cheaper… you just don't get the bragging rights of eating at Michelin Star restaurant.
However, much like these folks below who told stories of how they used their company's money, everything changes when someone else is footing the bill. If the company says it's okay, I guess we're having lobster dinner with apps and desserts!
After that, these people had the most satisfying days of their lives when they got to quit their jobs while also sticking it to their terrible bosses.
