There are some things about cat ownership that you can only truly understand if you are a cat owner yourself. Like, yes, everyone knows that cats are awwdorable and that cats are hissterical. Everyone knows that cats are silly little creatures that sleep all day and occasionally lose their minds for no clear reason. But people have no idea the extent of the chaos that our cats bring into our lives. No, the only people who know that are us, and luckily for us, some of us are talented enough to capture these chaotic experiences in the form of art.
Everyone, say thank you to our in-home group of pawsome and ameowzing artists who make some of the coolest cat comics on the web. It's these comics that really capture the hilarious reality of being a cat owner - art made about cats by cat people. Sigh, we all know this moment, don't we. We spoil them with fancy shmancy equipment and toys and trees, and they always - and we mean always - find something else, much cheaper and sillier to love instead. Dirty water, boxes, peeing on our plant instead of the fancy self-cleaning litter box. Every single time.
Honestly, it's hard for us to even be mad about this one. Because you know what? Yes, enough work for today, it's time to go feed the cat, and pet the cat, and brush the cat, and spend some nice quality time with them, we completely agree.
