'My neighbors won't stop screaming': Guy plays heavy metal all day as payback for his neighbors' constant partying

Is there anything worse for non-confrontational folks than having to confront your noisy neighbors? As a non-confrontational person myself, I get anxious just thinking about being put in this position. I still have stress dreams about that time I had a crazy neighbor complain about my ceiling fan. That's what happened to this Redditor, who shared their story via Reddit's r/pettyrevenge subreddit. His neighbors were partying from 1:30 a.m. to 5 a.m. on a TUESDAY night! Literally my nightmare. When he came knocking on their door, they got defensive and claimed that OP was the one who makes noise all day. So, OP decided to lean into that role a bit further. He decided that the best payback would be to give them exactly what they accused him of. This meant blasting heavy metal music first thing the next morning.
