Kids can be very selective about the things they tell their parents. At some point, a kiddo goes from tediously divulging every detail about their day to smirking after telling their mom they did "stuff" at school today. Compared to the life of an adult, kids don't have such a monotonous existence. They learn something new every day at school, and they should at least have one thing to tell their parents about on the car ride home. On the other hand, I understand why kids' memories can be so elusive. School isn't always great, and you don't always want to tell your parents that a kid in your grade got in trouble for posting a Snapchat video of his dog licking peanut butter off of his 'you know what.' True story! If you're a parent who desperately wants updates or could live without that last anecdote, these parenting tweets might be a good substitute for either.
